Yellow Velvet G-Plan Armchair

Designed by K.M. Wilkins for G-Plan (E. Gomme Ltd) – the ‘Simona’ sofa and armchair suite was launched in 1970.

Reupholstered from the frame up and finished in a bright,  yellow velvet – soft, but very hard wearing (80,000 rubs).

The label inside the chair, dated 29/8/1971 by the previous upholsterer, has been left in situ.  The ‘G-Plan Design for Comfort’ label was saved to the new bottoming cloth.  Original castors.
